April! I love it- that last picture is a crack up! what a character she is..! so full of life and love. I caught up with your blogging since we'd been out of town and I've never cried so much in one sitting. I love you and I am so sorry about all the frustating times you've had! my gosh. sometimes do you think...>when does it end?! sheesh. I put your names in the temple as I'm sure many other loved ones of yours have. I want so badly to physically be there and help in some other way. We keep praying for you guys and I just love sweet little Zoe-some of those pictures break my heart in two. Thank you for having this blog and keeping us all informed...keep your head up. Love you. ReplyDeleteApril, what is the story behind seeing Vice President Biden? Where were you and how did you get so close to him? Little Z is so adorable! You are doing a great job of creating her a photo journal that, one day, she will look back on with gratitude.
ReplyDeleteApril, you and Sean and Zoe are strong. I feel it when I read your blog, I see it in the pictures you post. Strength. I am inspired to be more courageous in my little life when I read about Zoe and her parents. I remember one time when I was desperately sad and I cried out to my mother, "It's too hard to be strong!" She said, "Then don't be strong." I felt like she had given me permission to rest and cry and most of all, gentle counsel to lean on the arm of the Savior (and sometimes to lay in his arms like Zoe lays in yours). I have remembered that counsel again and again. And it has saved me.
